Curriculum for the New Economy - ABO Haven's effective use of pre-testing students who enroll for placement allows the staff to adjust the curriculum to the needs and capacity of the client; and if needed, ESL and GED classes are offered to ensure that the "basics" are in place. Practical workplace applications of technology-based skills are taught which enable clients to perform work-related task in an efficient manner. The ABO Haven experience provides for a seamless transfer of skills from instructor to client in an environment which supports and encourages optimum performance in the classroom, and ultimately, after placement, with firms in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
